It appears to me that the only thing "missing" in the source is
the audio.device's BeginIO(), which is in -- can you guess? --
amiga.lib!  $%!!#!#  I have the source translated all but that
one statement.  I sent a query to a asm-head friend :-),
waiting to see if he comes up with some code for the body of
that function.

How did you define my-array? Come to think of it, how did you manage to
get a minus sign in a variable name?

If you change this to x*4+my-array, I am sure all will be OK. You should
also be sure that your strings are actually big enough to hold the data,
otherwise you may start overwriting other memory (not sure if E handles
this for you or not).

Again, the [] notation is very easy to misuse and type something that you
really didn't mean.
